How a rental works

01 · YOUR BASE Check the crew out Scan the skipper's QR, pick the yacht and the return day.
02 · ALL WEEK The fleet on one map Every yacht with its last position and when it was sent.
03 · RETURN DAY Check in Photos, damage and fuel before the crew leaves. A copy goes to the skipper (coming in the pilot).

No app yet? It's free, one minute. Don't want one? Send a web link by SMS (coming in the pilot). Busy day? Print stickers from your dashboard and let customers start themselves.

Built for a week at sea.

The whole fleet on one map

Every yacht, with the last known position and its time.

Help request to your base

A breakdown or a question reaches your base with the position.

SOS to the rescue centre

An emergency goes to the rescue centre for those waters — you see it the same second.

Return check

Photos, damage and fuel at check-in. A copy goes to the skipper (coming in the pilot).

Route plan and ETA

SOON

A planned route instead of a zone, and an estimated return.

Daily all-OK check-in

SOON

One tap a day from the skipper, plus the crew list.

Questions operators ask

What happens offshore without mobile signal?

Fleet uses the phone's mobile data. Out of coverage, your map shows the last known position and when it was sent; it updates again closer to the coast. Fleet is not a satellite tracker or an AIS replacement — on ocean passages, keep those.

Is charter mode ready?

Partly. The live map, help requests and return checks work as for every other craft (coming in the pilot). Route plans, ETAs and a daily all-OK check-in are on the roadmap, built with pilot charter companies.

Do my customers need to download an app?

The VesselSOS app is free and takes about a minute to set up — on iPhone today, Android later. Customers who don't want an app get a web link by SMS that works in the phone's browser (coming in the pilot).

Do I need GPS trackers or other hardware?

No. Your customers' phones are the trackers. Your staff use the Fleet dashboard in a browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. The only thing you print is a QR sticker for each craft.

Can I use Fleet this season?

Fleet is in its pilot: we're onboarding a small group of rental operators for the 2027 season and set up each fleet together with them. You can try the dashboard demo with sample data today and apply for the pilot.

Who can see my customer's location?

Only your staff, and only for the rental the customer accepted in their app — they can see who is watching. VesselSOS keeps its data in the European Union (Stockholm), and every pilot operator signs a data processing agreement with us.

Fleet helps your staff keep an eye on every rental. It is not a rescue service and doesn't replace your own safety duties.
